US Senate S.843 - Contact our senators

Noticed there is still little or no ammo on the shelves? Wonder why? DHS is buying it all. They are in the process of buying another 3/4 of a billion rounds. WHY? BECAUSE THEY CAN. What are YOUR elected officials doing about it. NOTHING. Well, one of them is. Sen. Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma has sponsored S.843, to try and limit the DHS from doing what it pleases in this regard.

Listen to the interview with him at this link:

He doesn't have a co-sponsor and it is a real shame that my senators from Texas haven't taken this issue up with him. I am going to contact them and encourage you to contact your senators. If Obama can't get his way by restricting our right to bear arms, he will restrict our right to buy ammunition by buying it all by using out tax dollars which he seems to spend without restriction.

While I'm no fan of the Feds, by this theory, how do you explain the unavailability of 22 LR?
