Suppressors Are Preventive Medicine
...it is encouraging and perhaps even surprising that the national specialty society of ear, nose and throat surgeons—the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS)—has adopted an official position statement endorsing firearm suppressors (silencers) for hearing preservation.

Sounds like the proposed law to make suppressors legal to purchase without a tax should be passed immediately.
