For being at least smart enough to stay clear of riding on any gun bans last year. So, literally, thanks for doing nothing. I suspect that while you were "organizing" with acorn in 94, you remember the beat down your party took in 94. And I'd like to thank the NRA for making that possible. Even Clinton admitted the NRA played the big part in the 94 democrat's demise. Of course, with obama being a downhill hot potato no one wants to be near (except Sheila Jackson lee) I doubt Obama could pass gas after this november.

Even a blind hog catches an acorn (no pun intended) now and then.

Nope, he is no Bill Clinton. But the libs sure want to convince themselves that he is. Otherwise, they have to admit they have made a huge mistake and that goes against Liberal nature. :tiphat:

I'd take old bill in a second over this worthless man. But, the beauty is he doesn't even have the support of his own party. He can't get anything passed. I believe the man to be the worst enemy of the 2nd, but I am grateful that his political impotence keeps festering.

Based off of anything substantive, or what AM radio is telling you to parrot?

Based on his history and voting record. In his very short and inexperienced career, he has made statements several times that left no doubt he is working under the desire to disarm us all. He worked hard to achieve this as an Illinois Senator. Maybe you should look up his very recent past.

Here ya go a link http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/barack_ ... ontrol.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... maybe in the next election you will remember this before voting for him again. He sure talks purty, I will give him that, but his words are all lies. The man wants to socialize America, make no mistake about it. He may try and give it other labels, like progressive, but it is still the road to socialism he travels.

One more thing, that last little part of your question was unnecessary. You must be parroting what you hear liberal biased media saying since you accuse others of doing this.

No, dont listen to crap like that. Just when other say "they know" without ANYTHING to back that up, then follow with reflex buzz words like "socialism" and "liberal biased media" when comments like that are challenged, that tells me pretty much what I need to know.

I agree with you to some extent, but I still worry about the fact that the buying of votes has not only become acceptable, but admired as "good politics". It is garbage like this that makes Illinois a garbage dump of government corruption. Now the same crooks that helped make Illinois so corrupt have control of the White House.

Hmmmm, interesting and disturbing reading.....

I think I am glad the saying, "cannot put toothpaste back in the tube" probably protects our gun rights more than any politician, right or left wing. Probably explains why ammo and guns are so hard to find on the story shelves. Once they are in our hand, there is no way they can get them back.

I just think we have to be careful we don't lull ourselves into a malaise about Obama. He hasn't made a run for guns yet because he is busy trying to take over the health care system. He has his priorities. Once he gets control of 1/6th of the US economy, he can use that power to manipulate all sorts of laws that will violate our rights. Wait until one of his cronies come up with the idea that guns shooting folks is increasing the costs of government health care. It will be right behind fat laws forbidding sugar and chicken nuggets.

Hey, maybe the fat laws will lead to the "diet chicken mcnugget". Think of the marketing potential!

But yeah, I DID vote for Obama (needed a change after Bush and McCain ran 8 years too late), but I dont trust any of them farther than I can throw them.... well, maybe less than I can throw them.

Good thing about elections every four years, if you dont like what you see...... do something about it.
