What are your thoughts?

HB181 by Sid Miller: "Relating to an exemption from the sales tax on handguns, rifles, shotguns, and ammunition."

I caught wind of this at work today... Don't have much more info. I was thinking of getting a new Glock and rifle... perhaps I'll wait until Tax-Free Weekend :tiphat:

I think it is a wonderful idea!

I wouldn't hold my breath however :banghead:

What about a "cash for clunkers" rebate: Turn in that old six gun for a $1000 credit on a new (add your favorite here) I would much rather have a new M&P 15 than a lousy front load washer :txflag:

Better yet, let me credt any new gun purchase against my property tax bill...... 1 to 1.
