I personally think al-Qaida declared war on the United States on September 11, 2001. They used a terrorist act similar to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. Anyone (U.S. born citizen) that would go over to al-Qaida and participate as a partisan in their war against the U.S. is committing a traitorous act. By not having renounced their citizenship they are committing treason.
Without more information I must vote yes.

The pustule in question was not
just a murderer. He was an enemy combatant, dedicated to bringing the United States down. He did so from foreign soil. He did so in the leadership of an international terrorist gang which is in a
declared war against the United States. He got killed in the war. Cry me a river. He should be buried in a vat of pork fat.

That is also how I see it. I'm reminded of all the Americans of German descent that returned to Germany to fight for Hitler. They were killed in war and we didn't have a problem with it then. Some of them might have even became officers and possibly with under cover missions because of their ability to speak English with authentic American accents. All traitors subject to the death penalty.

Today I listened to the bleeding hearts wringing their hands over this traitor's death. How sickening.
When you dedicate yourself to the killing of your fellow Americans, you best be expecting a Hellfire missile
with your name on it.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
The HVT (high value target) we were after was the son of Yemeni parents who came to this country and lived in New Mexico.
He also lived in San Diego, suburban DC (Virginia side), and other US cities.
As a bonus prize to today's HVT kill, another traitorous American citizen was killed. It's possible that the CIA didn't actually
know that the 2nd guy was traveling in the convoy with the main HVT.
He was a North Carolina native and was the editor of "Inspire" magazine. This magazine appealed to US Muslims wanting to
kill good people. It provided articles on how to create bombs, and how to fire an AK-47.

Can you say collateral damage? The way I see it he was a passenger in a vehicle targeted by a drone.

...I don't care if it's a one-legged Sunday School teacher who's head of the PTA...when you turn traitor against the USA and actively support the ones who are attacking us, and killing our soldiers...you have just revoked your own citizenship, and should be shot down like a mad dog in the street...now, if that's not politically correct enough for a "candidate"...next candidate, please...in a war, due process falls second behind doing what it takes to save lives, citizen and soldier...

We should do the same thing to MS13 and other gang memers in the USA who are a more immediate threat than someone halfway across the globe.
War on Terror. War on Crime. If assassination sans trial is ok for one it's ok for both wars.

If it's moral for the US government to preemptively assassinate Al Qaeda members then it's definitely moral for US citizens to assassinate foreign gang members. Also any members of the Mexican drug cartels on US soil, etc.
Kill 'em all!
