Interesting Ron Paul ad: Chinese Army in Texas

Post by OldCannon »

I'm not interested in Ron Paul winning the presidency, for a variety of reasons, but this video is interesting. It uses a typography style and builds up (too long, really) to the inevitable conclusion, but it's definitely an amusing (and unrealistic) "What If" scenario.

When another country enables its residents to plan, train for and carry out attacks against America, they reap what they sew. The difference between "us" and "them" is that if they dropped their weapons we would have peace, but if we dropped our weapons they would slaughter us.

This is why I could not vote for Ron Paul, despite the fact that I agree with him on many/most of his domestic economic proposals.

Obama's folks should steal this ad. It state's his case better than his own ads do. :smilelol5:

More fear mongering from Paulie and his crowd. More cutting down America and Americans. I had remained silent about this dope, but no more. The man and his campaign spread deceit and lies about America everyday. He openly smears his opponents with indefensible accusations on national TV. But he doesn't like it when accusations about him are fronted. The stooge is nothing more than a bank robber. He is a pure Libertarian running under the Republican flag for RNC money if he were to secure the nomination. He spreads fear in the same class as the liberals on clean air, clean water and global warming. Same tactics because he has learned they work for the ignorant dumb downed American that does not do their research but obtains their non-facts from Yahoo or MSNBC. He is cut from the same mold as Obama in the fact that America is wrong and has wronged. Paulie, I am against you 100%. If you get the nomination I will vote for you because I am 100% 'anyone but Obama'. The sad part is you are not because you will not openly say you will support the Republican candidate, no matter who it may be. Ron Paul is becoming a cult leader and the cult is anti-American.

That is all this video ad is, anti-American. Sad he would insult our armed forces this way.

While I understand the premise of that video, there is a small part that was left out: the fact that INTERNATIONAL TERRORISTS trained in Iraq and Afghanistan to carry out attacks against the USA. I'm pretty sure I remember some really big buildings in New York City being blown up resulting in a whole lot of Americans killed. Can anyone tell me what Mr. Paul has said he would have done in response to that, had he been President?

He has answered that question on many an occasion. It is what we get for being in 'their' countries. What do you expect those people to do? And his followers all time favorite term BLOWBACK.

Like to know Paulies response to a Chinese invasion of Canada if the US and Canada agree on completing the liberty pipeline to Houston. I mean it would be between those countries and we should not get involved in a conflict that would alienate the US to the far eastern and oriental sects of people. Sorry Canada you are on your own.

He's a crazy old loon......like some cranky old uncle...... but what's even crazier is that he gets the airplay he's been getting and that liberals in the media (but I repeat myself) think he's a conservative.

TAM, I'm pretty sure they know he's not a conservative...and they only call him that to muddy the waters.

He may not be a conservative but he's a lot more conservative than Romney. Not that that's saying much.

Now that you've said that, what is misleading or incorrect about the ad?

How is a guy who wants to cut 1 trillion in spending his 1st year in office, end entitlements, supports the 2nd Amendment more than Newt or Romney, and wants nothing more than to eliminate the Federal government from interfering in our personal liberties NOT a conservative?! Lot of misinformation about Ron Paul out there if you ask me.

Count on Ron Paul to make a moral equivalency between the Chicoms and the U.S.

Would we ask the chicoms to build a base in the US. Where ever we have bases we have been invited by the recognized government. The ad wants you to assume that every where and anywhere we have US military bases we went there to occupy and destroy. That is a plain mis-truth. Iraq and Afgahannyland are countries either without law or run by dictators that murdered the people that stood against the government. Those governments did covert things that were plots against the US. Believe it. We have bases in Germany, why? We have bases in Italy, why? Should we pull them all?

The President really has no control on how spending is accomplished. Congress sets budgets, the President can approve or deny. And a quick check of how much fed money goes to the Paulie district shows......the district has quadrupled the amount of fed money going to that district. Fourth highest in the nation......hmmmmmm. Shoot, there was 180 nice recipients that had their homes rebuilt at taxpayers expense. Is that a handout/entitlement, earmark or a pander for votes? I sure would like my house rebuilt so I didn't have to spend that money on insurance.

A supposed doctor of medicine that wants to legalize marijuana. Are we sure we are teaching these doctors correct? But of course there is nothing wrong with a bit of pot smoking.

Their is a lot of misinformation about Paulie, and it comes from his own lips.
