Clint Eastwood will be speaking at the Republican Convention in Tampa on Thursday according to Fox News. The network’s website is reporting that a GOP source confirmed “that Eastwood is indeed the mystery speaker”. Thursday night’s line-up has a “To Be Announced” speaker scheduled ahead of Senator Marco Rubio and GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney himself. Eastwood’s name was floated earlier this week as the speaker along with former VP nominee Sarah Palin, Donald Trump and even a hologram of former President Ronald Reagan.
I can hear it now....

Although I don't usually give much credence to celebrity opinions (unless they agree with me ), I will be interested to hear Clint as he is very entertaining. Not much he has done that I don't like. I was kinda hoping for the Reagan hologram, that would have made me shed a tear.

I don't believe in pessimism. If something doesn't come up the way you want, forge ahead. If you think it's going to rain, it will.

It was part comedy routine. He was talking to an imaginary Obama sitting in the chair next to the podium. ......"What? No, I'm not going to tell Romney that. He can't do that to himself."
