early voting has started in Texas
let me tell you all the county to which I live is not huge...but we are sizable.
We voted at 145 ish pm and there was a line out the door and over 1300 people had already cast their ballot according to the machine number when it took my ballot

I was going to early vote today about 5pm, and wow, the line was out the door at the local polling place (Clear Lake - Freeman Library)
I didn't stay and vote, but you can bet, I will be back (when the line is a bit shorter)
but I was very happy to see that long line of voters!

I've done my part. ..been waiting four years for this day.
Went early this morning and the place was humming with activity. I see that as a good sign.

Voted in Denton County today; hopefully we will have a change in residents in the WH this January.

I think people will never trust poll stats the same way again. I say it is not a close election. I say Obama goes down in shame. He earned it.

Could be a record turnout this year. I heard last night that in Denton County there are normally 2000 - 3000 early votes cast per day (I think thats what they said) and yesterday there was over 12,000 votes cast.
It was hard to hear the speaker at the debate watch party I was at, so the numbers may be off a little and I am not sure if it was 2000-3000 per day or in total during early voting. I did hear the 12,000+ number though.
Vote early - your toilet may be overflowing on election day

Man, it's exciting to hear this kind of buzz on the very first day of early voting! I didn't make it yesterday, but definitely have to go this week. I'll be out of the country on election day.

Cameron County annex building where I voted, when I showed up there were about 8 people in front of me, and when I left there about 20 waiting. Of course, city hall downtown had a line out the door.

Mrs. Oldgringo and I have done our duty and I don't want to hear anything else about it other than our team won.

I figured that voting at 1:30pm today would be the best way to go...no lines, in and out. I was wrong. The line was at least 100 people deep for 6 machines. Long wait, but worth it! I'm happy to say I did my part. I get back to the States the evening before election day and am looking forward to what will hopefully be good news!
