This is part of what we're up against....

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Hat tip to a friend of mine on FaceBook, via "The Five" on FoxNews.

I submit that this person is too stupid to differentiate between a prank phone call and a serious one. I hope he doesn't own any sharp objects.

Satire or not, I've actually spoken to a number of liberals who say these same things, and are just as benighted as could be.

I seriously hope this was a sarcastic bit and the author isn't actually that stupid.

But, it wouldn't surprise me if this were legit.

Beaufort, NC is an interesting mix of old and new NC.
A LOT of native Tarheels and a growing number of transplants into what I remember as a charming, sparsely populated, coastal area.

Beautiful country. Too bad the education system isn't up to par.

This is priceless! I think I may post this daily to facebook. It ranks right up there with the lady who called to have the deer crossing signs moved to safer areas because too many deer were being hit by cars in the current areas.

I think it's satire, but the sad thing is it could also be the heartfelt sentiments of a member of the Democratic Party.

I have come to the conclusion that a lot of people are just scared of guns. I have recently seen this kind of sentiment expressed by a libertarian and one of the economists responsible for Reagan's supply side economics. These are not dumb people but they are totally uninformed about guns and I believe essentially scared of them.
