Please, more of this.....
“This morning I met with my three Producers, and we made the decision that if these antigun bills become law, we will be moving all of our production OUT of Colorado. We have already cancelled a scheduled filming session for late this month. Obviously, part of this is due to our own commitment to the right to keep and bear arms, but it also reflects 3 lawyers’ opinions that these laws are so poorly drafted and so designed to trap otherwise legal citizens into a crime (one of our attorneys referred to them as “flypaper laws”) that it is simply too dangerous for us to film here.”
“I can give you chapter and verse on the legal implications if you need, but suffice to say that the first legal opinion was so scary we went out and got two others. Al three attorneys agreed.”

But will it be enough to cause the Democratic leadership to stop their insanity? I suspect not! They are so hell bent on promoting their anti-gun agenda, that they won’t care how much money or how many jobs it will cost the people of Colorado.
When politicians are so visibly flying into the face of such opposition, you have to reason that there is a huge ulterior motive. "It's for the children" only gets them so far. Then again CO seems to have gone solid, cold blue so maybe they are not worried about re-election because they pass gun control laws. I would have expected Washington State to be worse the CO but even Washington failed to get their gun control agenda passed and they didn't have businesses threatening to leave because of it.

Once Obama gets some guns banned, he won’t stop until they are all banned and once that happens, he will launch his hostile military takeover of the US and free America will disappear forever.
The author had my attention right up until the end of the article. Personally, I do not believe that Obama will launch a hostile military takeover.
The rest of the article is logical and well-presented.

“flypaper laws”
I'm stealing that. Best two word description of all the new gun laws.

Sounds like some voters need to do some recall petitions.

From listening to Michael Banes podcasts, the Colorado laws were passed with such bad language that unintentionally running afoul of the new laws is a real concern. I'm no expert on the new laws, but he makes it sound like merely handing a standard capacity magazine or semi-auto rifle to your wife/son/friend at the range could be considered illegal transfer. He cited several other examples.
If you get caught up in this, even if you are found not guilty or charges are later dropped, you are still screwed. The state only loses a case. You lose time and attorney fees. Your guns get confiscated. According to Bane, you don't get them back, either. Colorado has a policy that no guns seized for cause get returned.
Gun control is win-win for Democrats, at least from liberal districts. If it passes, they win points with the base. If they lose, they still manage to get everyone so worked up about gun control they tune out on all the other horrible things they're doing.

THIS!! They win, as at worst, they distract everyone from the REAL issues (jobs, debt, corruption, etc.); at best, they make headway on disarming the commoners so that once the REAL issues come home to roost, destroying the economy and putting them in power FOREVER, there will be NOTHING the commoners (that's you and me, by the way) will be able to do about it.....

I'm normally of the same pessimistic bent as you. There is a glimmer of hope. It looks like Obamacare is going to self-destruct in 2014 when it is fully implemented and Dems will finally get the blame for it. The Senate vote to repeal the tax on medical devices essentially defunds it. I have my fingers crossed.
