The coverup unravels

Diplomat: U.S. Special Forces told "you can't go" to Benghazi during attacks
According to excerpts released Monday, Hicks told investigators that SOCAFRICA commander Lt. Col. Gibson and his team were on their way to board a C-130 from Tripoli for Benghazi prior to an attack on a second U.S. compound "when [Col. Gibson] got a phone call from SOCAFRICA which said, 'you can't go now, you don't have the authority to go now.' And so they missed the flight ... They were told not to board the flight, so they missed it."
Of course this flies in the face of all the claims made by the administration that everything was done that could be done and no one was ordered to stand down.

The next few days should be interesting.

Edit: Is it possible that the rats are deserting the sinking ship?
As the day for three Benghazi "whistleblowers" to testify before a congressional panel draws near, President Barack Obama's fellow Democrats on Capitol Hill slammed him with statements on Sunday's national news shows that were highly critical of the now famous Benghazi massacre talking points that were allegedly revised to mislead the American people.

Of course the military would try to respond if there was an attack on US personnel somewhere in their area...but if they are ordered to stand down, they have to follow orders. And just who is the commander-in-chief?

Word has been that the two dead former SEALS were ordered to stand down and ignored it.

This whole story doesn't make a lick of sense, and I have had the feeling that when we get to the bottom of it we won't be happy.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

I pray it gets very hot in the kitchen of lies and deceit.
Who ever is at fault needs to be swinging from the yardarm so to speak.

We have a NIXON moment coming,
the state department woman ( i forget her name, but watched her wiggle last year at the hearings)that was watching it real time in from her dc office still has some explaining to do as well

its good to see those up for a re-election to start switching their loyalty :evil2:

The "anointed one" (annoying one from my perspective) will emerge unscathed. :mad5

I agree. I don't think the public really understands any of this and doesn't care. Not only is there a coverup but the general population are too stupid to understand it.

Will he invoke EP to save Hillary like he's done for Holder?
Hillary is a much bigger fish for the Dems to save... but that makes her a much bigger target.

Did she lie under oath to Congress? (were her lips moving? )....

Obama didn't lie to Congress (on Benghazi). I'm not seeing where he did anything impeachable on Benghazi. Derelict, certainly. But impeachable?...
Hillary, OTOH. :rules:

You folks are being awfully hard on "the most transparent administration in history."

I feel so dirty after typing that.

I don't believe he invoked EP to save Holder, he did it to save himself. I think the same will hold true here.

He's done with elections forever... Reelection was his main motivation for protecting Holder...
Not so sure he likes Hillary that much...
