Ted Cruz was born in Canada. So according to Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, he's ineligible to run for President.lbuehler325 wrote:Paul-Cruz 2016! Cruz-Paul 2016! Either works for me.
His mother was a US citizen. Cruz is eligible for POTUS.equin wrote:Ted Cruz was born in Canada. So according to Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, he's ineligible to run for President.lbuehler325 wrote:Paul-Cruz 2016! Cruz-Paul 2016! Either works for me.
Yeah... Moments like this are why I can never run for office. I'd consider it my solemn duty to so insult and offend that bill's supporters that they'd be unable to avoid assaulting me, and then I'd be in the hospital or dead, and neither of those options really appeals to me (though, if I could guarantee the former outcome rather than the latter, it might be worth it to get all the senate democrats arrested).Wes wrote:![]()
Wow, what a great speech and wow, what a horrible bill. O Cruz! Hopefully, someone gets their head out of their behind and stops this nonsense. Indefensible is being nice.
Ah, yes, you are correct. My bad.RottenApple wrote:His mother was a US citizen. Cruz is eligible for POTUS.equin wrote:Ted Cruz was born in Canada.
