"I think guns are not something to be missed," he said. "Especially, on a serious note, when we talk about it this week [and] this tragic thing that happened in Paris. I'd like to see more guns go to sculpture."
He added, "I'd like to see it happen. I don't know that we've come to a time where we can be a gun-less society, but we're certainly not working the way we're flying with them."
"Being provoked by this aforementioned strong woman and considering how liberating of bull and ugliness it would be not only get rid of the guns I have in the continental United States but also to destroy them, Jeff Koons and I had a chat the other day," Penn said.
He said, "The highest bidder gets every single one of my guns put in the hands of this iconic artist and sculptor…Koons will decommission [and] render inactive all of my cowardly killing machines."

Celebrities may have gun protection by others, because they, they the celebrities don't taint their own hands with guns...

Well, another "star" to boycott - it's getting so that I can't even watch tv these days.
There is no girlfriend worth that.
When my girlfriend came to my house and told me that she didn't think she could live in a house with guns in it, I set about changing her mind, gently.
She has aced the CHL written test every time, and 100% on the requal targets.
We have been married for 21 years.

Sean Penn is a hard-leftist who palled around with Hugo Chavez, the now deceased dictator of Venezuela. Who knows if he actually had them destroyed, as I don't trust anything the man has to say. However, even if he did, its his loss. He can give them up, but I will not be giving up mine.
EDITED TO ADD: I almost forgot (because I really don't watch anything by this guy) that he's a rather violent man, as well. He has a history of domestic violence and assaulting photographers, IIRC.
