Man trespassed for life from ALL Walmarts for OCing a holstered handgun

Dude wasn’t all tacticooled up. He had a legally holstered handgun OC'd on his hip, while buying plumbing supplies in a Walmart. His sin was having called the manager's attention to the fact that the store's gun counter was left unattended and unsecured. Police are called. He is told that he’s being trespassed by the manager, and made to sign a trespass form that bans him from all Walmarts nationally. He even asked if he could at least pay for what was in his cart, plus his unfinished drink, on the way out. The answer was no, get out now.

The last officer talking tried to blame him for the response of 7 officers to a call of a man who broke no laws and caused no disturbance? Unbelievable.

The officer that handed him the form is an idiot. He did a tirade about how many officers had to deal with the issue and that the guy puts the public at risk with his OC every time he does it. Like I say a total dummkopf! That's when the customer should have replied the cop is statistically more likely to commit a crime than him. I am a big supporter of police BTW, but I get irritated when I run across one on the low end of the curve. It's a shame most gun owners are not inclined to stage protests and organize boycotts.

I need to think about buying my first gun. With the way things are going, I may not have the opportunity to buy one in ten years.
By then we might just kiss the whole Bill of Rights goodby.
Seems he’s going to singlehandedly get Walmart to put up signs.

A few questions:
Which Wal-Mart did this happen at?
What happened before the cell phone video started recording?
Does the Wal-Mart manager "have an attitude?"
Why should the guy sign anything?
Observations:
When cops get a trespass call at a business this is how they handle it. If you do not leave you get arrested.
If the customer really is a good guy he should appeal up the chain of management at Wal-Mart to get the no-trespass order rescinded.
There is certainly more to this than what we are seeing on the video.

I kinda wonder if he was even asked to leave before LEOs arrived or called. If he was and didn’t leave then his being trespassed is all on him.

MWAG yelling at the gun counter.... It IS all on him.
Were I in the same position and felt strongly about it, I'd have filed a report with the police, letting them know that the gun counter was unattended. Maybe sent it to ATF. Not my job to fix Walmart. Absolutely stupid to yell at Walmart while OC-ing.
I'm not saying he deserved to be treated badly or trespassed for life, but, there were, literally, a million better choices the guy could have made.

I must have missed the yelling at the gun counter part. There was nothing in what I read (unless I totally missed it) that said he was yelling. Only that he asked to speak to a manager about the counter being unlocked and unattended.

I would have called the district manager after I returned home. However, I saw no yelling or overt posturing. Additionally , his choice of holstering , as long as legal, has no bearing on the incident. I believe WalMart and the Police overreacted. Personally, I CC 99.9% of the time, but that’s me, he did nothing illegal or outlandish as I am able to see.

Is that sarcasm or do you really not own any guns?

There is more to this story than what is being told. It is slanted by the way it is reported. Yes, both sides slant the actual truth with partial truth. One just does it more than the other.
