An anti-2A FB friend posted this on FB.

I have only read the article provided. There is a video, but I haven’t watched it yet.

If the article is giving all the facts, then the homeowners were completely in the wrong. You can’t chase someone who is jogging down the street, get into a fight with them when they won’t stop to talk to you, then shoot them. (Even if you think the person fits the description of the most recent burglary suspect.)

Having said that, the article also says that this person has mental health issues, has been violent in the past, and he brought a handgun to a high school basketball game. He doesn’t appear to be a model citizen.

Posting to read everyone’s thoughts.

“Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.” --Thomas Jefferson

It appears to be a complicated story.

One thing for sure though. The men who chased after the man they thought was a criminal will be spend a lot of money and time defending what they did.
