They never recovered from it , too many mad gun owners , I know because I was one of them .
It sure could have been the beginning of their decline. If they received most of their revenue from government contracts, the decrease in sales to the public wouldn't effect them much. Losing the government contract probably put the nail n the coffin.

I remember that. I also remember Smith and Wesson capitulating to the Clinton DOJ and Bill Ruger saying that we don't need more than ten round magazines.
