Help...lease needed
I don't know if im in the right spot for this but desperately looking for a hunting lease in the smith county and surrounding areas THATS NOT outrageous. I'm a retired vet and just moved back to the area from NC, with fixed income and cannot afford the high prices of yearly leases here just to put meat in the freezer. If anybody can help a vet out and point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it

I would think you might have better luck on texashuntingforum.com... or maybe in the general section on here, but not in the chl discussion subsection of the forum. Good luck.

Re: Help...lease needed
I'm in a situation similar to yours. Retired military, now SS also, but still working PT. Moved back here in 05 and in very short order I decided my deer hunting days are over. Just can't afford a decent lease. I can find places to shoot pigs occasionally, but still sometimes have to wait for an opportunity. Haven't even purchased a hunting license in the last 3 years. Maybe someday again.

What's with the attitude? I was being helpful... I told you to go try http://texashuntingforum.com I just didn't make it a hot link. Assumed that you could take it from there. Guess you wanted me to give you a fish, not teach you to fish.GunnerMike wrote:cyphertext wrote:I would think you might have better luck on texashuntingforum.com... or maybe in the general section on here, but not in the chl discussion subsection of the forum. I took the to mean that you were mad at my response... but really, try that other forum... you might get lucky and find something affordable. There are also folks over there that offer hunts for veterans.GunnerMike wrote:cyphertext wrote:What's with the attitude? I was being helpful...
