I promise not to commit any crimes....where's my check?
The D.C. Council is voting on a bill Tuesday that includes a proposal to pay residents a stipend not to commit crimes. It's based on a program in Richmond, California, that advocates say has contributed to deep reductions in crime there.

Where's my check?? I haven't committed any crimes! This is just another case of discrimination against the already law abiding!! I could be at risk of committing a crime at any second! I WANT MY MONEY!!!
I would be very leery of any idea coming from Commifornia!
Take away the Second first, and the First is gone in a second

Hillary seems like a prime candidate given her repeat offenses.
Not if they maintain the requirement to cease criminal activity as part of the program. Also not sure about Hitlery because the article says the program applies to criminals who haven't been caught yet. Hitlery is in the grey area of known criminals who haven't been prosecuted.

Up to $9,000/year sounds like a great part time job opportunity for a little extra income. (To offset the increases in healthcare costs I'm currently enjoying)
It is unbelievable that there are so many elected people who think stupid ideas like this will work. Even more unbelievable is the number of voters who put these people in office.
The handle of the socialism toilet has been pulled, we are just swirling around going down with the flow.
