And by the way, did anyone happen to fail or have any problems?

I shot a 249. I pulled on one of my shots and it landed in the 7. Not too bad.

I scored 250/250 when i did mine perfect score but i also been shooting since i was 7 with my dad... he was retired LEO perfect practice make perfect

My father is fond of pointing out that my mother, age 65 (at the time), shot a perfect score and hadn't handled a gun since she was a girl on the farm.

Of course I pulled one when I shot it.

Do you think the shooting test is too easy? How would you change it?

Have always shot perfect scores, but the test really isn’t that difficult if you’ve shot all your life, as I have.

Then again, I haven’t had to shoot in quite a while, since I am on my fourth renewal. But I practice regularly and have my own place to shoot.

My Daughter who only shoots about once or twice a year…somehow manages to do better than most and so far (two proficiency tests) has shot perfect scores. Shoots my Commander Length .45 acp when qualifying, because she likes it best, but carries a smaller 9mm.

Class of 21 students, all ages and backgrounds. Three had perfect scores, she had the best ‘grouping’, beating even the LEO that was there. Instructor awards to ‘best of class’ (combined written test and shooting) a cap for their efforts.

Of course, what really counts is how you perform….if something goes really bad. Not how well we shoot on the firing line. Fun to compare though.

He said previous court cases have used a licensees score to determine if their defensive shootings were justified.

My target had 3 hits just outside the 8 ring while shooting from the 20(?) yard range. The rest were center and 9 ring.

I call load of cow manure on this one. Scores have no bearing on a good/bad shoot.

250 of me I got in some good practice before the test and hedged my bet by using my trusty old, full size Sig. It makes everyone shoot good. I would think the gun would make a difference for the average shooter. Say the difference between a full size Springfield XDM and a Kahr CM9 regardless of which one you plan on carrying. Also, I’ve heard the story before about using a high proficiency score in court. Don’t know if that one is true or not. In any event, my instructor let us keep our paper and I still have it.

I think the shooting part is designed to be pretty easy. Honestly if you can't pass it you either shouldn't own a gun or you need to practice more. but i also wasn't using a snobby revolver trying to hit right in the center at 25 yards.

On my last 5 shots I asked what would happen if I missed one, teacher said why, I wanted to put a head shot. He said don't do it you have a perfect score.
