Anyone know the value of these? Getting an offer to trade for my Ruger LCR. It's a stainless model with a black grip

the price of the colt will do nothing but go up in price while the lcr wont -- even though its 80 series still has and will have more value than the lcr ever will -- but as stated i guess it depends on condition, i would heavily consider the trade though

this is the Colt. I've been trying to get a ballpark estimate on value. i have both the original colt grips and hogue wrap around, 1 original colt magazine and a kimber. regardless it was a good trade on my end. I just like to know the value of my firearms, and since im not very familiar with 1911's im kinda stumped.

pictures are coming out pretty small. not sure what exactly I did wrong. but the pistol has a nice shine after the polish. has some scratches here and there, nothing big. and idiot scratches from the previous owners not knowing how to properly disassemble and put back to together. but it is in overall good condition. great crisp trigger.

like others mentioned hopefully you done made the trade -- like i said in other thread value of that pistol is only going to go up -- that lcr will never reach what the value of the colt is or will be

Haha I made the trade that day! It's already mine, I've cleaned and polished some of the parts already. I couldn't believe he actually went ahead and traded. It's a great shooter. Just can't seem to find an actual price for these.

They are not worth much so if your will PM me I will give you $300 and that is way more than it is worth.

Go to Armslist, Texas Gun Trader, Gunbroker, etc... Check to see what the going price is and that will give you a ballpark coat.

Well...

1st off, its a 1911.. throw a base price of 400 (and thats low).

Add the fact that its an Officers model, add another 150.. for some reason the price goes up as the size goes down.

Tack on the Colt tax, lets call it 200, considering the low base price to include 2nd and 3rd tier manufacturers in that guesstimate

Add some for being stainless 100

Take away a little for having GI parts, unless youre a purest then add some -50

Take away a little more for being used, and im going to use the 1911 depreciation scale here -1

So, if i was appraiser on a road show on PBS, id value your gun on the open market at 799.
