Non chain theaters? My local theater is only 30.07 posted as well as the closest Cinemark.

A good while back I went to one...no sign at all. Of course that's been several months ago. It may have changed.

Movie House and Eatery in Flower Mound (near DFW) has a sign saying concealed handguns are welcome, but no open carry and a 30.07. I'm good with that. I conceal and carry every time I go there.

Cinimark in Texas City, and Premier in Galveston. There may be a 30.07, I don't know I never pay attention to those.

Our new favorite theater is the iMAX in the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin. We carry openly, seldom crowded, decent price, and free covered parking for disabled. Oh, and did I say iMAX?

Cinemarks and Alamo Drafthouses in Austin are only 30.07.

Lost Pines 8 in Bastrop is not posted.

Our Cinemark in Lufkin is posted 30.07 and I have no issues with that. On weekends they also have off duty police working security. The theater in our mall however is posted .06 and .07 are very gun unfriendly. We try not to patronize that establishment but on occasion we will if it's something we want to see, but then we carry concealed anyway when off duty so it has never become an issue.

The Rave theater at Northeast Mall is only posted 30.07, and they have an off duty cop just as you enter. I took my family there last weekend to see BFG, and cc'd there & had a nice conversation with the cop. The seats are super comfortable lounge chairs.

Santikos Palladium in Katy (I haven't been to the other Houston Santikos location). This is now the only theater we go to. It's posted 30.07, but that's about as good as you are going to find.

I consider it irresponsible to go to a movie theater (or mall) unarmed.

I don't believe the Cinemark in Mansfield is posted for both. The Texas3006 app only shows .07 and others have posted that Cinemarks do not have both signs. I will verify this weekend when I go to see new Star Trek there, because I no longer want to give "gun free kill zone" AMC theaters my money.

Are you sure Northeast Mall is posted? I don't see it listed. You might want to add it if it is.
