Even if they do notice, if you are clean cut and carrying a "cop" gun (Sig P226, any Glock, S&W M&P 9, or Beretta Model 92) in a plain non-fancy retention holster, they'll just assume that you're an off-duty cop or detective and not pay any attention to you. This is especially true if you're driving a plain USA made sedan or SUV.

They won't assume you're a cop if, say, you just hopped out of a Lamborghini. They may also notice you if you're sporting a flashy 1911 with custom grips, wear an untucked dress shirt, have long hair, or facial tattoos.

This^ Had the people at the car wash thinking I was a cop, wearing nice dress slacks, button down shirt, oakleys with a shaved head while OC'ing. They were very supportive and said they were happy to have me in there carrying and that they felt safer with people being armed around them.

Report from Azle Walmart, saw a guy open carrying a small frame glock, also noticed two separate guys conceal carrying, I was open carrying my para and the glock guy said "hey" as he went passed, and nodded his head my direction, I returned his nod. No big deal but seeing more OC'ing anybody else seeing this?

I've only seen one person open carry and it was at the local NRA banquet.
