Wow, I wish it had that kind of status updates when I applied a few years back... That's pretty cool that they have that kind of feedback now.

I've been on Print Pending for 3 days now. Hoping perhaps Monday I'll see a change. Perhaps they are waiting to mail out a batch all at once? Good luck on your wait!

Looking at this website http://www.southlakechl.com/application-process/

In step 5 are the first two bullet points required to be uploaded from the DPS website?

-The bar coded application form sent to you in an email from the Texas DPS in a .pdf file
-A copy of the receipt from MorphoTrust for your finger printing

This seems outdated to me.
When I submitted my application all that I sent in was my signed CHL-100 and went to an Identogo location after scheduling the appointment to get my fingerprints taken. You have to submit the application first.
Then I sat back and waited. No bar coded application form. No receipt from Identogo.

Thanks that's my understanding as well.

I submitted everything but the kitchen sink.
- CHL-100 Form
- Barcode Sheet
- Receipt from IdentoGO
- Receipt showing I paid the application fee

My thought was it's better that they have too much information rather than not enough.
