Just noticed the sticky.

Single no kids
Springfield XD-45

New to the gun scene thanks to my best friend. Working on trying to get my CHL, which I'm finding difficult/expensive with my work schedule.

I just want to say I've learned quite a bit on this site and thanks to everyone that's helped this noob.

Hi folks - Just completed my CHL course last weekend and I'm learning as fast as I can.

Mike

Married - Wife former APD
Two children (one stationed in Korea)

I have a lot to learn about Concealed Carry and this looks like a great forum to start with. Look forward to contributing and I'll probably start with some dumb questions, so bear with me.

Thanks in advance.

Carry guns/equipment
I am still experimenting with different guns I own. I can carry my government 1911 in an IWB from Kirkpatrick. It is heavy and I have to be careful when bending over as to not print. I also have a S&W Model 60 snubby I carry in an IWB from Bianchi, it carries well but isn't much of a gun, but it's better than nothing. I want another 1911 but I am being particular and want an officer size frame with a 4in barrel. I just haven't figured out which make yet.

5 for sure in that 60 is not a bad gun. I have a Tarus 85 & an sp101 that I carry & do not feel under gunned.
