Maybe they are afraid of you might dry fire the gun. Its pretty rough on some gunsrkhal wrote:I have been unable to examine a gun here in San Antonio at 2 stores w/o the trigger lock on and they will not remove it. When I bought my Glock 26 the girl brought one out of the safe to let me try the trigger on. But she was the exception. When you ask if you can see it w/o the trigger lock they act as if you want to shoot them with it.
For an outdoors store they are remarkable paranoid about handguns.

They always seem to be a bit higher on their firearms. Example, I bought my Glock 19 at Cheaper than Dirt for $499.99 (plus tax) back in December. Bullet Trap had the same gun for $514. But they give you a slight discount if you are a member...not enough to justify the membership if you ask me.

I took my wife to sportsmans warehouse and they not only let her handle every one she wanted but several at the same time to feel the differences. They were $30 less than Acamdemy. We bought for them and probably would have even without the price savings because of the extra service. They were actually better than what I saw at the Bullet Trap too.
We will be going back there for my next purchase.

I have purchased 2 handguns from Sportsmans Warehouse in the last 3 months, and have been very pleased with their service and selection.fisherchris wrote:I took my wife to sportsmans warehouse and they not only let her handle every one she wanted but several at the same time to feel the differences.
