Mary Tyler Moore [December 29, 1936 - January 25, 2017] RIP



This song was written by Sonny Curtis, from Meadow Texas, who was in Buddy Holly's band.

I was looking at a website that sells Australian food and clicked on their music link.
I had never heard of John Williamson, but I listened to some of his songs and liked his music.
Here's one of his songs called "Honest People".

It's amazing that there are so many talented musicians from other countries that we haven't heard.
Also, some of subject matter is universal.

I think this song spoke to many people and Ted Nugent makes a statement for all of us in his tribute. I ad my own thanks to the late, great Chuck Berry by posting this.

There are many songs that speak to me, but I've liked this one since the first time I heard it, and I stop whatever I am doing to listen and sing along when it comes on "When there's no one around".

I was just starting Chapter 3 of my fourth book when I ran across this on FB. Holy Smoke! I couldn't believe how timely it was and I listened to it over and over as I wrote the next three chapters.
