I have one that I received from Taurus in exchange for a recall as a replacement. They are inexpensive, hard to load magazines, always goes bang and is nothing special. I keep it as a truck gun. Would not make this my primary gun.

I bought one three weeks ago cuz it was cheap and all of the good reviews. I got it home and You could pull the trigger with the safety engaged. I sent it back to Taurus and they told me it would take 6-8 weeks to get it back and that they have never heard of one doin that. When I get it back I im selling it.

I bought one 2 or 3 years ago because at the time it was so cheap I wanted to give it a try. I'm happy to say that I've never had a single malfunction with it. I've run several different brands of FMJ and SD rounds thru it, and it's comfortable to shoot. The only issue I've had was the rear sight screw came loose after about 200 or so rounds, but it just took a drop of locktite to secure it.

My EDC's are either an XDS9, Shield9, or a S&W 642. Whenever I'm working on the farm the G2 is the one I usually garb. As a matter of fact, I carried it on the farm today when I was running fence lines.

I really wanted to like this gun. But I never even got to shoot it and I had what I consider a major problem. I love the Taurus 85 revolver 38sp. My wife keeps one for bedside duty but I am ruined on taurus semi autos for now on. The bad thing is I prob won't get hardly much for it anyway.

Interesting. What caliber? The original PT111 Mil Pro in 9mm would do that if you had the trigger partially pulled when you flipped the safety on. It turned out the .40 would do it with a hard enough pull (varied gun to gun) anytime with the safety on. I've seen lots of posts from folks who sent guns in on the recall but first report I've seen of a safety problem with the G2.

It's the 9mm model. Like I said I really wanted to like the gun. But in my opinion if the gun has a feature it should work. I don't think the safety is really that important on the gun and I would not have had one put on it. If I carried it, I would leave the safety off. But like I said if it has the feature I want it to work. It is a gun that would be a good tool to train somebody on and having the safety would be nice in that instance because of trigger control. The ergos of the gun feel great and the stippling they did on the grip was very nice and haveing fully adjustable sights on that low price of a handgun? That's pretty cool. I just can't trust it now it just bothers me.

Some friends and I were sharing guns at the range a couple months ago when a random guy with a Millennium G2 joined our group. I put two mags through his gun along with 2 other friends. All three of us had the same problem: the trigger breaks so far back that we thought the gun wasn't cocked the first time we tried to shoot it. Other than the strange super long trigger pull, we all agreed that it was a nice gun.
