Hated to miss out, but I didn't finish a project at church until 2:30 AM. Hopefully can make the next one as it sounds like it was a fun time!

Next time just work your way over to the "high 5" and ride with me!txglock21 wrote:Sorry I missed it! I was out the door to head that way and truck was dead. I still had time to run (in the Jeep) to the auto parts store down the street and get it running, but ended up getting a speeding ticket a block from my house. (First ticket in over 12 years! ) By then, I was a little too miffed to drive to Arlington. Maybe next time? Glad there was a good time to be had by all.
BTW: Very nice LEO, handed him DL, LTC and insurance, he handed me back LTC & insurance card and said "I don't need those".

Next up, need to get something going for the other side of DFW. I was thinking something Addison/Carrollton area.

I've not been there before. Are they big enough to accommodate us if we have a large group? I did look up on texas3006.com and they are NOT reported as being posted at all.curryman wrote:May I suggest:Jusme wrote:I'm game for about anything, just pick a place, time and date.Flightmare wrote:Next up, need to get something going for the other side of DFW. That will work for me, Saturday morning traffic isn't too bad. I'm somewhat familiar with the area.
If others have places they would rather go, maybe closer to DFW airport to kind of centralize things for more people, go ahead and post them. I enjoyed our first meet up, and don't have a problem driving a little further, to do it again.

It's a little on the small side and usually packed. I'll call them and see what can be arranged.

Just wanted to bump this back up. Let's choose a location, and have even more folks at the July meet up.

The Oasis on Greenville was mentioned earlier, it's easy to find.

The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager
