Six Flags is history...

Guess y'all heard what happened to Six Flags. One of the flags was a (gasp, shudder....) confederate flag. So they not only removed it, but removed all 5 of the others and replaced them with just 6 U.S. flags. So, no more "Six Flags Over Texas." Sigh.....

The decision came one day after Six Flags said it would not take down the Confederate flag in response to the deadly attack in Charlottesville, Va., during a demonstration against monuments to the Civil War.

I visited Russia last year.( I know I'm a colluder )
I was required to have a registered guide with me at all times. She was a highly intelligent woman and an excellent guide.

After we got to know each other, I asked her about the Communists. She said Russia's history was varied, and that the communists were just one chapter in a very great story.

The confederacy was one chapter in Texas's great history, but you can't truly know our story, if you leave out a chapter.

Six Flags has only dodged the question. They still call themselves Six Flags Over Texas, prejudicially ignoring the history of Coahuila y Tejas, one of the states of the Rio Grande Republic and one of the seven national flags to fly over Texas.

It's time. Write Six Flags, call your Congressman. Eliminate this last homage to the Six since one of them was Confederate.

The park should be named Two Flags Over Texas.

Unfortunately my grand daughter works in customer service at 6 flags.
Now this kid is 16 years old and this is her first real job.
She was being yelled and screamed at all day yesterday because corporate made the stupid decision to remove the flags.
As much as I disagree with the decision, come on folks, these are kids, and they had no input whatsoever in the decision.
