https://www.infowars.com/vegas-bombshel ... f-hooters/

Video shows ambulances lined up at Hooters. 1km from venue.

Staging area or as Infowars suggests, people shot there.

The news has gone dark on the Las Vegas shooting.

No new information whatsoever.

Were there automatic weapons? Will we ever know?

Story about a bell hop who helped the guy check in, said nothing unusual about his luggage, now he is missing.

Alex Jones and Infowars can find a conspiracy in an apple falling from a tree. I am very leery of anything they put out.

I'm not leery of their info, I totally dismiss it. Like you say, they can twist anything into a total new fake news story. These types of sites and reports should be banned because of those who take the articles at face value.

Sad to say ISIS is looking more credible here than the FBI and VPD are. The times we live in... The Enquirer is now more credible than the mainstream media.
No credible info yet. After all those planning you would expect to have a video of shooter explaining why he did his heinous act.
OK, I am going for the conspiracy theory:

He was set up by Soros funded thugs (the thugs did the actual shooting and left this guy with no priors as the patsy). The object of the mission was to drive the government into implementing an Australian type gun confiscation after which ISIS terror cells - already in the US as a result of Obama's wide open borders - proceed to massacre us all and establish the American caliphate.

Not bad, eh?
You as I, we are aware the momemt 2ndA is nullified and confiscation begins, the 2nd Revolution would start. However nice 2nd Revolution to protect and uphold the 2ndA. 2ndR2p2ndA, hey let us file a patent for that term. :biggrinjester:
You mean the 3rd American Revolution, right? We had the first one in the 1770's where the revolutionaries won. Then the second in the 1860's where the revolutionaries lost. So by my count, this would be the third.

At any rate, an active civil war / revolution would be an even better opportunity for ISIS to wreak havoc, IMHO. Not that I believe in conspiracies or anything. It's like the old saying "just because you are paranoid, it doesn't mean that they are not out to get you."

Yes I agree. But the lack of transparency by the Sheriff has created a situation that rumors run wild.

Why?

Can't they at least give us a list of weapons found in the room and which ones were fired that night.

Anything.

The last time I saw the Sheriff giving a press conference he appeared overwhelmed and frustrated with every little thing he said being twisted and parsed. I bet he and the mayor decided it was best to go quiet until the investigation was further along and they could disseminate info in a manner that everyone wouldn't be able to play the gotcha game so easily.

There may be a great grand conspiracy involved here but I think it's way too early to jump to that conclusion. I also believe the focus should be on solving the crime and determining if all the actors are accounted for rather than trying to squelch rumors that the public conjures up based on what little info they have.

:iagree: I listen to Alex Jones occasionally and think his stories sound pretty thick at times.

Yeah and why would somebody bring a laptop without a hard drive? :bigear:

Security. You can boot from an SD card or USB stick, do all your work, and then remove the card / stick and continue on your business. OS and all files stay with you.

Not saying that's the case here, but it's something folks do.

Sure thing but why putting up with the effort to take out the hard drive if a harddisk can be whipped as well? It sounds like the interestin item is the original hard disk now.

Most drives that are wiped are not actually wiped. You'd be surprised what data I can get from an "empty" drive.

But to get back on topic, there are a lot of weird things with this shooter. I don't know if we'll ever get the truth or if we'll just get the truth someone wants to tell us.
