Don't forget, 1/20/18 is the next meeting.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll make this one. Since moving back to the area (finally) for the new position at work (railroad) I have weekend coverage every 5th weekend. Not that it entails much, just keep an eye on the network and such. But, being is that this is my first weekend of coverage I don't have a routine and/or know what to expect. Shouldn't keep me from attending going forward, but I need to get through this first one to get an idea what I'll be dealing with.

Y'all have fun, I'll see you next month!

This Saturday is the Cowtown Amateur Club's Hamfest. It's on top of the list right now.

I can't make this one this week. Due to my schedule it looks like I won't be able to make another one until April.

Might better ask who is going to be there?
I can make it but i don't want to be there by myself!

I can make it too, but don't want to drive an hour to Arlington for only one or two folks, one of whom has to come from Mineral Wells.

I suggest moving this month's meeting location to Weatherford.

R&K Cafe II is well liked by lots of folks. I haven't eaten there yet, but I'm up for giving them a try:

15 Fort Worth Highway, # 200, Weatherford, TX 76086

I'll check them out today to make sure they're gun friendly and will confirm or suggest another location by this evening.

What do you folks think?

Update: The R&K Cafe has closed.

I propose meeting at the Sunny Street Cafe at 1314 S. Main Street (in the strip mall across from Walgreen's) in Weatherford.

Any takers?

If I weren't working I would still come out there. It'd be a nice ride before it gets rainy again on Sunday. But, alas, gotta earn a buck.

Most likely the wife and I will not be attending. Been out of town on business and had to go to doctor today to get meds for sore throat and cough.

Little confused. Planned on having a coworker come in early for me to make Arlington by 0800. Canceling that plan. Weatherford another 50 or so minutes and not asking him to come in any earlier for me. Not sure that changing the venue the night before is a good idea.
Be safe.
Peace.

Yeah, not sure of that, myself. I can still make it either way, but I need to know for sure which one tonight. I don"t want to get up in time to find a place in Weatherford that I"ve never been to, then find out I could have kept my lazy (self) in bed. :biggrinjester:
