I have worked for this great company for a very long time. I am heartbroken.

LifeLock has bailed.
Even the underwriter that covers the new NRA self defense insurance, if I'm understanding that correctly.

The latest company to distance itself from the NRA was insurer Chubb Ltd, which on Friday said it would stop underwriting a controversial NRA-branded insurance policy for gun owners that covers legal costs in self-defense shootings.
Symantec Corp said on Friday it ended a program with the NRA offering discounts for its LifeLock identity theft product.

Beautiful - gun controllers coming out and identifying themselves all over.
Perhaps someone with a brighter legal mind than I could opine as to whether this trend at some point violates the Commerce Clause or some other laws? Talk about collusion....

The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Bank backing NRA Visa also dropping them.
The rep kept trying to convince me not to, but in the end, he gave up and cancelled my card. Still have a balance due next month. If I didn't want to ruin my credit, I wouldn't pay it.
I had some issues with Enterprise a couple of years ago and haven't used them since so no big deal there for me.

It's not about the discounts that I never use, it's about not doing business with pandering, virtue-signaling businesses who dump NRA programs to score political points with anti-gun causes. I'll take my freedom of choice where all of my rights are respected, instead of just the convenient, social-media-ignoramus ones.C-dub wrote:I'm just curious. I don't expect or ask for a military discount. Why would I expect, ask for, or care if someone wants to give or not give a discount to someone just because they are a member or the NRA?
BTW, I am an NRA Lifetime member.

Re: Enterprise Car Rental Drops the NRA
I've never taken advantage of any NRA member discount in my life, so I'm experiencing no loss here. However, I'm certainly paying attention to who is breaking ties. They will not have my business.
Funny thing is that these "partners" likely contribute little, if any, to the NRA. They simply offer members discounts in hopes they'll earn more business. The gain for the NRA is an increase in the advertised list of (mostly useless) fringe benefits that come with membership. I don't think anyone is truly joining, or dropping their membership, over a discount to rent a car. This will certainly hurt Enterprise more than the membership. And the antis have gained only a perceived victory, which they are all too happy to shout about over social media.
The only action I have felt inclined to take since this tragedy is to renew my membership for another five years. It wasn't due, but I figured they could use the cash now.

Avis owns Budget, Zipcar and Payless
Hertz owns Dollar and Thrifty
Enterprise owns Alamo and National
Advantage owns E-Z Rent-A-Car
Guess that means my car rental needs are down to Advantage and E-Z Rent-A-Car. Anyone ever use Advantage?

I never used any of NRA discounts. At work we may have even better discount programs.

I haven't gone looking for any virtue signaling, however.
