Do you carry pepper spray or other non-lethal weapons?

You need to include a "never" tab, IMO.

Then, I could vote.

I had trouble adding the third option, but it's there now.

I decided not long ago that a less lethal means of defense would be a great idea to have on my person. I'd rather OC someone than have to shoot them. I had a road rage incident where I came SO close to OC'ing someone. Luckily, he decided to let it go. Chasing me into a gas station and approaching me while I'm fueling up isn't a good idea.

I carry pepper spray more than I carry a gun. You can legally carry pepper spray more places.

I carry it often.......IMO it is a valuable tool and easy to carry in places where guns are not allowed.

My Wife carries it full time.

She won't be carrying anything except that baby girl pretty soon. ;-)

Two more days right?

I TRY to remember to take pepper spray with me when I walk or ride a bike in the park - mostly in case a dog would try to provoke an attack me or one of my dogs. I've only had to use it once, but was glad to have it with me.

You cannot carry pepper spray in schools. (as far as I understand it anyway)

Chemical despensing devices are listed under weapons prohibited in schools.

LOL, it can't be too soon for her. She will now have even more to protect! Any time would be good for us.......anytime my friend.

We have run drills, sprayed an expired bottle to test distance and control of the stream in the wind, and done extensive research on the effects of OC pepper spray. I honestly believe that she feels comfortable with it and actually has it with her full time. She spends anytime in a parking lot or other obviously vulnerable area with it in her hand.

I realize that everyone does not believe in the power of OC spray.....I was once in that camp until I got sprayed with it in training class several years ago.

As much as I want her to carry a gun full time.....it just does not happen and I am proud to know that she feels comfortable with the Fox lab 2 oz. bottle.....it might save her life someday.
