I know I haven't been able to make it, for close to a year, ( which really pains me since I helped get it started) I am finally off on a Saturday, and I plan to attend, ( if I'm still welcome  )
I'll be in the white Dodge truck with the taped up rear glass, because I set a ladder up against the side of the bed, and it decided, to slide forward, and shatter the glass, this afternoon. I can't get it replaced until Monday. It's too hot to do a good tape job.
I look forward to seeing all of the folks from last year, and all of the others, who have helped keep this going. :thewave

I'll see y'all in the morning!!

Edit to add: I am going to do everything I can to convince Mrs. Jusme to come also, she just got her LTC in May.

Well, we had a good turnout of 9 folks this morning: bblhd762, Mrs. bblhd762, bitterclinger,
jusme, strogg, flightmare, crazy2medic, myself, and a non-forum gentleman who likes to visit with us.
The non-forum gentleman is a former Marine, so he knows which end the bullets come out. :-)
He also took all my gun catalogs, as noted in my post above.

Start to finish: 800 AM until 1215 PM. So many issues were discussed spiritedly. We just love to jabber.

I explained the LTC process to a 23 year old employee of Rudy's and gave him our website address,
so that he could improve his knowledge of 2A issues. He was interested in getting his LTC since he
doesn't have any legal problems, but he didn't seem to have any knowledge as to how to proceed
towards his intended goal.

See y'all next month.

Sorry to have missed another one, but this summer has been busy. Looking forward to this fall for a number of reasons, not the least of which is cooler weather, but also because I should have more availability to make these more regularly again.

Good for you SIA. In all the times meeting there I’ve been surprised that we’ve (as a group or individually) ever been approached by employees with questions.

:iagree:

Great to see everyone, after such a long absence from the meet ups.

Good to see familiar faces along with a couple of new ones. Hopefully I can join the North Dallas folks for their meeting next month. Thanks again Flightmare for the awesome 2A challenge coin, it's going to become part of my edc. Great conversation, with no lags, made it seem like only a few minutes, instead of almost 4 hours. If I didn't have other commitments (honey do's) I could have easily stayed all day. Looking forward to next month.
