Re: Your 2019 EDC
Mine will not change. I carry a 1911 of some form along with at least 2 additional magazines as my EDC and a P938 as a BUG.

Re: Your 2019 EDC
M&P 9C (Not 2.0) + 17rd extra mag, or Walther PPS M2 + 7 and 8 round extra mags, or BodyGuard 380 plus two extra mags. Same as the last 8 or 9 years except for the PPS. I don't anticipate a change any time in the next decade or so, but who knows...

Re: Your 2019 EDC
I use a Voodoo TQ with medical shears pouch MOLLE attached to a Condor Rip-Away EMT Lite pouch. Most of the time, it is with me MOLLE attached to my 5.11 MOAB 10 bag. When I do not have the backpack, I rip away and use the hook and loop to attach to a range bag or pistol case. Other times, I MOLLE attach to my belt at 6 o'clock or rip-away and use the carry handle.kayt00 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 9:11 amI need to build out my IFAK, thanks for that reminder Montgomery. Maratac trauma shears from County Comm and the IFAK contents from Rescue Essentials.
Looking at $150 all-in.
The specifics:
INSIDE POUCH
(2) Sharpie markers to write down time to keep track of Golden Hour.
(1) Celox-A
(1) H&H Combat Medic Reinforcement Tape
(1) Hyfin Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack (folded in half)
(1) Israeli T3 Bandage - 4"
(1) QuikClot Combat Gauze Z folded
(1) SWAT-T Tourniquet (to apply compression to cuts)
(1) Hypothermia Wrap blanket
(1) pair nitrile gloves
OUTSIDE POUCH
(1) SOFTT-W Gen 4 Tourniquet (primary TQ)
(1) Maratac Premium EMT Combat Trauma Shears
I purposely do not carry an ARS decompression needle, nasopharyngeal airway tube, or first aid items to treat cuts or burns.
I do highly recommend basic gunshot wound first aid training from a qualified instructor. Also highly recommend the Texas LS gunshot wound first aid book. It is chock full of full color photographs, organized by wound location, and has plain English step-by-step response plans. It is the best field guide I ever saw.
I am not a TCCC medic, but I have been to a rodeo a time or two. Hope this helps ...

Re: Your 2019 EDC
Just retired my Hi-Power and Colt Mustang from my carry lineup and went with a Shield 9mm. Have an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2 or 3, On Your Six, leather pancake, Remora clipless and pocket holster so I can adapt it to what I am wearing.
It's amazing how much difference a pound makes when it comes to wearing a weapon. Gained 2 rounds also when I carry the extra mag.
Glad I made the switch. Wish I would have done is sooner.

My EDC is an iPhone 8+.
That other tool, though, is the same as it was in 18, 17, 16, and 15. I just don’t get to carry it every day.

Re: Your 2019 EDC
Carrying only wheel guns this year.
There's a thread about it.
Until I started having a few surface rusting issues, the old school M10 was probably my favorite to carry.
Right now it's the 586 L Comp instead.
