Re: Introduce yourself
Hello all.
I will hopefully be getting my plastic soon. Been around guns most my life, but this will be my first license and in the time since I decided to get my LTC this forum has helped me as I've worked on getting the correct setup for carrying. In the past 60 days or so I've gotten 2 guns, 4 holsters and a car safe... so I figure I'm about halfway to the point where I have a good feel on what works best for me and I'll be able to start upgrading.
I just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you for all the information this forum provides.

Welcome to the forum.
I hope we can change your views on guns.
The USA is one of the few places on Earth where ordinary citizens have the right to own guns.
That right is written into our constitution of government.
It has allowed us to remain free and uninvaded for 243 years.

I'm 66 years old. I came across this site from a LEO friend. I have looked around on here for several months. Just decided to join. I am very pro rights. I don't like anyone infringing on my rights. I am a Vietnam veteran and like to think I at least made a difference in this world. My wife of 48 year's and I own an auto repair shop between Dallas and Ft. Worth.I love guns and always have. This site fits me just fine. I have a handgun license(3 renewals). Spent 3 years in the USAF 1971-1974. 3 children same wife. YEE HAW. I love my wife and kids, guns and cars.

Welcome to the forum!!
Thank you for your service.
If you are in the DFW area, we have two different breakfast meet ups, one for the Northeast and one for the Southwest. They are on different Saturdays of the month, so you can make one or both. We have great conversations, and a lot of fun.

Rudy's BBQ, off of I-20 in Arlington, the last time I attended one. It’s been a while for me.Blackhorse1 wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2019 6:37 pm I guess I would probably fit in the southwest area. Where do they meet up at.

I know where the Rudy's BBQ is. It's by my house. Anyone know what time and if they still meet there.

Hello Amy. Welcome to the forum. If it's not classified, what sort of engineering do you do?
