Early Voting
I went and Early voted today, I was surprised by the number of people running for president on the Republican ticket, of the names I saw only Trump and Joe Walsh were familiar, the rest I never heard of!

Re: Early Voting
Since I moved to Texas from Chicago, I cannot vote Chicago style, early and often.

Re: Early Voting
But since you left Chicago, you have probably voted Democrat in that state several times. Along with any relatives who have passed on!!

Close. My great grand parents still vote Republican, along with me. My late mom still votes independent.

Re: Early Voting
That reminds me of a letter I got a few weeks ago. Kalifornistan still thinks I'm perfectly capable of voting there. They know I moved, but they kept me on the voter registration. To unregister, I have to fill out the back of their postcard with all of my personally identifiable information and return it. Or I can just wait until I miss so many elections (3 years isn't enough?) before I get removed. I wouldn't be surprised if I continue getting letters from them for years to come.

Re: Early Voting
Same thing happened to my parents this year after they moved from Washington to Florida. Washington REALLY hopes they will vote when they don't live there (because the only ones unscrupulous enough to try that would vote democrat!)strogg wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 9:18 amThat reminds me of a letter I got a few weeks ago. Re: Early Voting
You should have them send your voting record and see how many times you voted in Cali since you left...strogg wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 9:18 am

Re: Early Voting
I looked at both ballots on line just to see what's up and the propositions are night and day different and then the weirdest thing- Pres candidates- Roque "Rocky" de la Feunta is on both the R and D ballots. How does that work?

Re: Early Voting
I like to early vote when I can, but this time, I’m the presiding judge for our precinct on Election Day. This will be my first time since living in Texas that I will be allowed to vote while armed, and by golly, I’m gonna do it!
Any of y’all out here in the Energy Corridor area of Houston on Election Day, you’re welcome to come vote at our little precinct location where at least you know one LTC holder on the premise will be carrying I won’t talk politics or guns with you while you’re here, but it’s always nice to meet a like-minded soul.

Apathy is exactly how Virginia was taken over by anti gun socialists. It could happen to Texas. Get out and vote people!
