Iranian goes to Georgia (near Russia) comes down with Coronavirus, put in quarantine, escapes quarantine and gives a press conference. He is first Coronavirus patient in Georgia.

Nurse or Doctor without gloves mask or eye protection drag him back into the hospital.

This will be all Trumps fault.

I have found that 91% alcohol is still available at the drug stores.

Granger still had hand sanitizer but it is expensive.

Bill Gates chimes on on what should be done. We need to supply other parts of the world with our healthcare workers. Establish a database where countries can share information. We should fund manufacturing facilities to pump out vaccines that don't exist yet.

Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, Walgreen's, etc. I did find a couple of the supercheap paper masks at a Lowe's. They said people were coming at a 6 a.m. and buying them by the armload, and since they're all made in China, there won't be any restocking.

We have sort of a routine, set by my wife (she's a nurse practitioner). Whenever we go somewhere, we rub in some hand sanitizer when we're back in the car, before we touch the steering wheel, etc. And in any case, it's critical to keep your hands away from your face. The mouth, nose and eyes are the "gateways" through which the viruses enter your body. You touch a doorknob, scratch your nose, and pow, you're infected.
:iagree: A dentist friend two weeks ago was telling me how much trouble he was having buying masks through his medical supply resources. Hopefully a US company (not you 3M because you moved your production to China) will ramp up production of N95/N100 masks.

I say we cut out a few billion dollars of foreign aid to countries that despise our way of life and help US companies (again not you 3M!) start manufacturing the critical medical supplies that we currently import (or can't import) from China.

Just a reminder for everyone. The cheap paper masks are to protect other people when you are sick. They do not protect you from much.

Yeah, I saw this on FOX news today. Geraldo brought it up. Some Dr they had on indirectly agreed with him. It was news to me. It makes sense and I can picture the mask actually collecting germs on it's face.

I had not thought of this yet.If this thing spreads enough, shortages of food products is a good possibility. Maybe I am being too optimistic but I really don't think it is going to get that bad.
