At 3:44pm today, I bought 500 rounds of 9mm 115grain FMJ at Shoot Point Blank in Round Rock. $102.73 with tax. More on the shelves.

oljames, that is $5.19 per box otd. With Berry's plated 115 bullets and CCI primers that is about what it costs me to reload; .07 per bullet and .03 for primer, and .02 for powder .12 per round WOW, what brand?

That is a great price. I thought I did ok at the Shoot Point Blank in Cypress yesterday. CCI/Speer 9mm 115gr for 229.00 per 1000. It was a little less than that with my membership.

I picked up a box for myself and one for a friend, so it was 245.00 OTD including my targets for a little practice session I went in for.

Someone at that store is going to get fired because it was mis-marked OR you had a coupon or other kind of deal going on.

No way they can sell it for that price, even the Midwest reload crap. ;-)

Nope. Big sign out front with the price. Magtech brass case. Not my usual Browning, but good stuff. This is SPB's soft opening in Round Rock. I would have bought more, but I had already bought 500 online from SPB for $130 and was picking that up when I saw the sign. It's a 25% discount from their usual price.

Sorry, I made a mistake. 500 rounds at $9.50 plus tax for a 50 round box. I did pick up 1000, but I had prepaid for 500. I conflated the two purchases.

oljames, math was never my strong point either. $9.50 per box for factory is STILL not a bad deal.

Just took delivery today on an M9 bayonet for my shotgun that I got in case I somehow run out of ammo.
I suppose I also bought it 'cuz it completes the look, that bayonet lug sort of demanded it.

Anyone finding 9mm hollow point ammo online?
SGAmmo not taking orders yet.
Found myself with more magazines than self defense ammo to load in them.

Nothing in the Houston South West or Sugarland area. Since the powers that be decided they were going to put us on lock down I figured I would conduct some “essential business” and make some ammo runs. Across 3 Academy’s and a few LGS and 2 Walmart’s just FMJ left in common calibers 9mm, 45, 223 etc. I did pick up 5 boxes, the limit, at Academy of 357 mag soft point for 24 bucks a 50 round box. I also picked up 5 boxes of supersonic 300 AAC for 15 bucks per 20 round box. There is still some 22 out there but it’s dwindling. Oh and don’t bother going to Wal Mart for any handgun or MSR ammo. They no longer sell it. No 9mm, 45, 40, 38, 357, 380, 44, 10mm, 223, 556. All they have now is “hunting” rounds. 300, 243, 308, 30/30 and 22.

This site makes it hard to post pics without an outside host, so here's closest I could find. Picture is not mine, nor is this particular firearm.
No sling (any recommendations?) and my bayonet is the OKC M9 with black handle.

I found some cheap 12ga slugs on Natchez last week, they're not gouging like SGAmmo is on some items.
