That mortality rate for 2017-2018 is from Oct 2017 - March 2018. that's more than a thousand a month more than your 458 number.

I'm not saying Covid-19 is a hoax. I'm saying the response to it is.

I was exposed at work a month or so ago. A coworker and I were both in the office, we weren't ever less than 6 feet from each other. I was tested after she showed up positive. I came back negative. I also had the antibodies test done during my normal checkup with my PCP. Just because I was curious if the "Flu" I had late last year that was pretty bad might have been Covid. It also came back negative.

But this week my fiance and I have both had some pretty severe allergies. Settling in our lungs with all the mucous. If we were to go to a clinic the CDC guidelines would have them put us on the probable Covid list, which gets counted as active cases.

The game playing they're doing with the numbers is very frustrating. It's hard to gauge what's actually going on. But I suspect that's by design.

China admits to 27 new cases a day. Sweden, despite being open, has 245 new cases a day. Louisiana is on the rise. Minnesota starting to creep up a little. Texas daily infections down slightly. Texas hospitalizations down a little as well. California leading the nation in new infections per day. South Africa, Peru, Chile and Mexico above the UK. Iran and Pakistan getting ready to top the UK.
