question about "processing application"

#1

Post by pgsulins »

this is not an urgent matter, but i have been excited about every step of the process and i have time to kill. when i check the status of my application, it says "processing application". does that mean that the finger prints have been accepted, does that mean the background checks are underway, does that mean that every aspect of the application is correct, etc? OR, does the 'processing application" status leave the door open for them to find an error with my application or finger prints or some type of stupid error on my part at a later date? enjoy your wait fellas, i'm gonna get comfortable.

That means that DPS has your application and has entered it into the system. That's all.

Still plenty of opportunity for them to reject any part of your app. Hope that helps you sleep better. ;-)

I did hear however that "processing" does not imply that your application has been confirmed to be "complete"

I can confirm processing app does not mean it has been accepted as complete. Mine still shows processing even though they have requested additional documentation from me.
