Prayers Again Please

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Prayers Again Please

#1

Post by carlson1 »

I feel like all I do is ask for prayers. The truth is I know nothing, but praying. Went to shoot at Shoot Smart today. Didn’t feel good, but wanted to shoot the PX4 Storm Compact. My barber is just down the road needed an haircut and some sun. After the haircut off to the range. After the range I was sitting on their picnic table outside. As I went to stand up the board on the top (termites or rotted) just fell through and I fell as the picnic table fell over on top of me. Pray for my little ailments.

The larger problem is my wife has just not felt well the last few weeks. She wasn’t acting like herself today, her speech was slurred, and she began to cry and wouldn’t stop crying. She has had a massive headache for about three weeks. Long story short EMS took her to the ER at Baylor and my Secretary is with her now because I am able to get around very good. She had two strokes in 2010 so I am some what worried, but I know our Heavenly Father is going to take care of all of this.

Prayers are coveted.

Is there anything better you can ask for? And whatever little else we might have to give, can we not always give prayer?

You and your bride certainly have mine.

The neurologist came in late last night and said my wife did have another stroke. Once again God has given us in Grace in time of need. He said it appeared to be a small stroke, but nonetheless a stoke. They will be keeping her longer and given her some medication. A lady who has never had cigarettes or liquor of any kind touch her lips. A lady who has never said one foul word. A lady who has taken care of her husband for 38 years throughout all of his illness. The best thing is a lady who has served God with ever fiber of her being.

I don’t understand it, but the good think is I don’t have to because God has the whole picture. He will give us grace through this like he has so many times.

Thanks for all of your prayers and well wishes.
