I am having a real hard time. They started me with me a low dose so I can only imagine what is next week. I have 8 weeks so all prayers are coveted.

OK...I have to ask. It has been 6 years since my ordeal trying to get off opiates. They never mentioned anything about offering this treatment for me. Is this something new they have discovered? Maybe not new but in the last few years? I have watched a few drug specials and Ketamine is a highly abused drug out on the streets.

Ketamine is a very dangerous and that is why you take the infusions at the hospital. They told me that this should reset my pain receptors so I can come off the super high doses of pain meds and get by with regular meds. Right now I am maxed out on morphine and oxycodone and still can’t stand and walk very well. The pain is horrific.


I have had one treatment and so far this week I have not had one oxycodone and have only had morphine once a day.
