Congratulations to the Rangers on winning their first World Series championship. Convincingly.

Amazing run! I was fortunate to have gone to a couple of my first Ranger playoff games including Game 1 of the World Series. Go Rangers!

Yay! I was wanting the Rangers to win to keep the Championship in Texas. I would have liked to see it go to 7 games, but glad they won. I enjoyed Gallen's spectacular pitching. The home plate umps in the series were terribly inconsistent in their calls; both sides. Last night was bad. The ump called foul before the ball had even been caught by Longoria which was clearly fair in the run down play. Wish it could have been the Astros, but congratulations to the Rangers. Got to see them play a WS game live back in 2011 with my son in law who has season tickets.

I was hoping for a four game sweep by the Rangers to clearly show Houston was the next best team in the nation. But this will do. Congratulations Rangers.

:thumbs2: I believe it was the Nordic World Series of Long-Distance Ice Curling. Or something...

But, yeah. The Rangers did Texas proud. Good on 'em for earning their first Series rings. A couple of those games, notably the 11-0 one, put enough drubbing on the D-Backs that it showed the real battle for the title was between the Rangers and the Astros. And God Bless for a wonderful retirement, Dusty Baker.
