Can someone remind me if you need to be a current NRA member in order to attend?

The seminar schedule is out and looks like a lot of good stuff.

John Correia, Jeff Gonzales, John Plaster and many many more.

Last time the Annual meeting was in Dallas we did a face-to-face at the entrance. I'm up for it
I’m taking off on Friday to attend both Friday and Saturday. Would like to meet up with everyone who is going.
I'll be there Friday and Saturday as well.

Change of plans...now only going Friday. Our kids scheduled their baby dedication for grandson on Sunday, so have to travel south Saturday morning.

Badges for me and the wife arrived in the mail today. I'll be driving up Thursday and will be at the convention all day Friday. Will be pulling a shift in the TSRA booth sometime probably after lunch. Understand it will be located near the check-in area. Stop by and say hi.

With President Trump there on Saturday, will carry be allowed in the show? Is carry allowed at all? I'll be riding dart, but only if I'm packing. The shooting yesterday at Pearl St. station shows it is wise to be armed.

Last time it was in Dallas, I carried both on DART and at the KBH Convention Center no issue. IIRC, when then President Trump spoke, again IIRC, carry was not allowed in the place where he was speaking as that was Secret Service controlled, but the rest of the site was OK.

Same. I had no issues either last time when he was in town and speaking at the show. I attended all 3 days.

So couple of questions as I don't remember what I did last time. I recently renewed but have not received anything from the NRA yet (I renewed online). Will they be able to simply look me up? Also we are allowed to bring a guest right?

Folks at the registration desk should be able to look you up. I am pretty sure that you can have one guest. I solved that problem before the last Dallas Meeting by getting the wife an NRA membership.

Stop over at the TSRA booth which is supposed to be near the registration and say HI.

Thanks and will do! If anything, he should be an NRA member. Really hope things work out with the NRA leadership.
