Yeah it was seriously packed, it took me 3 hours to just browse every isle. This is the first time I've been to a gun show in Texas but I heard a few people talking about it being busier than normal. Tis' the season to buy guns, wish I could have . I really want an AR-15.

The few times i've been to the Market Hall gun show have been dissapointing.
Most sellers there have some kind of a pipe dream about what their guns are worth, most sticking dangerously close to MSRP.
I managed to spend my budget, but I didn't get everything I was looking for.
I was at a gunshow in Houston, and it seemed a bit better. I need to check out Big Town one of these days, to see how that one is.

How much are the conversion kits?Fosforos wrote:WillieD wrote:I went today hoping to find an Advantage Arms .22 conversion kit for my Glock 27, but only one person was even selling the kits and they did not have one for the smaller Glocks.
The guy with the conversion kits is the one and only gun show vendor in the area that sells them. I bought my kit for the G19 from him.

They retail for $250, and that is what the guy at the show is selling them for. If you look around online you can find them for around $225-240, but then you are paying shipping on top of it.bluelineman wrote:Fosforos wrote:How much are the conversion kits?WillieD wrote:I went today hoping to find an Advantage Arms .22 conversion kit for my Glock 27, but only one person was even selling the kits and they did not have one for the smaller Glocks.

I didn't see any, but wasn't looking for them either. A friend is interested though. The show will be around in another few months if he's still interested at that time.WillieD wrote:They retail for $250, and that is what the guy at the show is selling them for.
