Electronic ear muffs (pro ears)
Has anyone every used Pro Ears? My wife is asking for a Christmas List and I thought this might be a good one, but wanting to get some feedback before Mrs Claus gets the list.
What else should I add to my list?

Very nice but expensive
I have a pair of the Dem 1 Pro-Ears, they are 7 yrs old and work great. They are pricey, but my hearing is so screwed up from the military, they help a lot when shooting and traning, hearing commands Ect...
If you want them for the range, they make other devices ( hearing protection electronic) that are cheaper that work just as well.

FWIW: I have a pair of Peltor Tactical 6s hearing protectors that I got for $65 and change from Midway (I think) and they are great. Been using them for about six months and have no complaints. They are sooooo much better than the regular ear-muff's. You hear everything except gun shots! Just my $0.02 worth.

Question is, which pro-ears though?
Please help the wounded store owner who fought off 3 robbers. He doesn't have medical insurance.

Go hear and look around http://www.pro-ears.com/
The difference between them (pro-ears and Peltor 6) is night and day.
Pro-ears is the best

I use a pair of Pro-Ears Dimension Plus. The only (tiny) thing I would like to change is the tension against the head; even though I don't have a small head (hat size 7 1/2), after a year of frequent use, including wear up on my cap and on my leg, I have to hold on to 'em when I bend to pick up casings or mags. But there are a lot of plusses that override this minor inconvenience...not the least of which is good auditory qualities. And they use the same size batteries as my SureFire lights and EOTechs. ![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Faint, I didn't know this thing uses N size battery. Should have bought an EOTech with N size batteries.
Where do you guys buy the N size? How much does it cost?

Here's a 2 pack at Batteries.com for $3.75. Not sure what the shipping would be.
