Wally Walk at Red Lobster

#1

Post by Crosswind81 »

Alright...I did my first cc tonight with the family for my son's birthday. No problems and was even able to forget I had it on me. My carry was my XD .40 SC with a Minotaur IWB from comp-tac. I need a better belt though...that will be my next purchase. The skrimpz were alright too...

Oh yeah, they did have a sign that stated something to the effect that unlicensed firearms were illegal...I just paused...and kept on truckin'!

Rock On.

The "unlicensed posession" signs are required by the TABC. You're always good to go with your CHL. The signs just let ppl know that ucw is a felony in those areas, instead of a regular misdemeanor.

What about the number 51 sign? I thought places like red lobster, chillis and etc will have the 51 sign and we can't carry there?

Nope. They make more money from food sales than alcohol.

The RED 51 sign is for establishments that receive 51% or more of their income from alcohol sales for consumption on premises. A restaurant will more likely not fall into that category.
