I now have my PIN!! I checked the web site and I thought, "That is it?" I logged in twice just to make sure. It just states "Processing Application". DPS is not much for elaboration. Anyway, I am a little bit closer. I need to start shopping for a holster and a way to secure my weapon in the car when needed. I'll check out the safe listings I saw on this site. In the mean time....

Haha! Yeah, it's a little bit anti-climactic the first time you log in, but when your status changes, you'll get a nice little shot of adrenaline that will make the wait totally worthwhile.

Finally! I checked my online status and saw....Drum Roll....Application Completed - license issued or certificate active!!!
Wow, over 70 days and still waiting on my plastic! Well, I'm almost there. Oh, man, I still need a holster for my Sig P220 Carry. I better get moving! I think this is going to be the worst part of the wait. I can almost taste it!
