I know this is not CHL related by this is sad in more ways than one!!!...the policeman was cleaning his gun in the dark because he can not afford to pay his bill!!!

That is indeed sad in more ways than one. It is without a doubt going to haunt that cop forever. Feel bad for the child that is injured but thankfully not killed.

Its nearly impossible to afford to eat in that town! It continues to amaze me that America shafts our military, cops and firemen on pay. How sad. I wonder if this will even change. Support our heroes, but then pay them squat? Makes no sense.

I have never understood how someone can either shoot themselves or someone else cleaning a gun/rifle. Step #1, verify and unload!

Sad for the cop who screwed up. Sad for the kidlet who got hurt. Too bad the cop did not clean his pistol at work in the armory or somewhere like it, that had LIGHTS!!!!
